Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Blessing of Students: All weekend Masses August 22/23

Blessing of the Catechist: All weekend Masses September 19/20

Parish Courtyard Carnival: October 3rd 10:00am to 4:00pm Come and celebrate with your parish family. Volunteer to help with a game or booth.

The Living Rosary: October 7th at 4:00pm in the church we will enjoy a wonderful devotion to Mary on the feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. We will learn about the rosary and how to pray with it. Family member please bring your rosary.

Blessing of the Animals: October 10th at 10:00am in the grassy area behind the Administration Building—look for all the animals!

Saints Alive: Sunday, November 1st at 1:00pm in the Parish Hall after the noon mass students in the fifth and sixth grade from the RE classes are invited to write a story about their favorite saint, create a costume, and present their paper at the “Wax Museum”.

Children’s Christmas Pageant Parent Meeting: November 29th at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall

Children’s Christmas Pageant Presentations: December 24th at the Children’s Mass times. Attendance at the rehearsals is a requirement to participate in the presentations. The Mass attendance times are divided by the letters of the alphabet

Children’s Choir: This is ongoing and it is a great opportunity for children in 2nd-6th grade to participate in the Mass. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 4:15-5:00pm in the Theatre of the Administration Building.

Breakfast with St. Nick: December 5th at 8:00am in the Parish Hall

Family Advent Traditions: December 5th at 9:30am-11:30am in the Parish Hall

Holiday Variety Show: December 5th at 7:00pm

Movie Night: Mother Teresa: On this evening in January 8th from 7:00-8:30pm we will join together as a community and enjoy an inspirational and faith-filled movie about Mother Teresa. Bring your favorite movie snack!

Family Lent Traditions: February 13th from 9:00am-11:00am in the Parish Hall

Stations of the Cross: Family Stations are offered on Thursday’s in Lent from 5:30-6:00pm. Regular Stations of the Cross with Benediction are offered on Friday’s in Lent from 7:00-8:00pm.

Living Stations of the Cross: These Stations are performed by our youth group on the Friday before Palm Sunday. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the teens of our parish.

The Triduum: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil

Recitation of the Rosary before Sunday Mass: Families come 35 minutes before the Mass and check in at the desk in the Narthex. They pick up the rosary pamphlet and microphone. The family sits in a front pew and recites the rosary.

The Traveling Chalice Program: As a family volunteer to take the Chalice home for a week and prayer for vocations. This is a wonderful experience to bring the conversation of vocations to your family. You may sign up for this program in the Narthex of the church.

Family Attendance at Other Sacraments: Attending a Catholic Wedding or an Ordination as a family is a great learning experience and teaches the children about other sacraments

Family Service Project: Since we are called by God to serve others this is a great way to put the words of God into action. As a family you may choose to visit the sick, or the elderly, you may serve a meal to the hungry—there are a number of ways to perform service. We teach our children by these acts of mercy how God wants us to treat others.
